Roy Hodgson says Wilfried Zaha could still leave Crystal Palace despite the Premier League s transfer window closing.

Before last week s deadline Palace rejected bids from Everton for Zaha, who was also said to be a target for Arsenal, with the winger handing in a transfer request in an attempt to force a move away from Selhurst Park.

Zaha scored 10 league goals for the Eagles last season after he signed a fresh five-year deal in August 2018.

Palace have reportedly set a value of £80million on the 26-year-old, and though a move to an English club failed to materialise in the most recent window, a transfer abroad could still go through.

Brazilian legend Zico was fired Tuesday as the coach of Greek champions Olympiakos as the team fell seven points behind arch-rivala Panathinaikos in the domestic table.

Olympiakos announced that the caretaker coach will be the team s Bosnian Serb scouter Bozidar Bandovic.

Zico, 56, joined Olympiakos last September signing a two-year contract after last coaching at CSKA Moscow but failed to lead the team to first place in the league.

After the weekend s scoreless draw at Kavala, Olympiakos finds itself in second place, seven points behind leader Panathinaikos.

The team continues to play in the Champions League with a last 16 round tie against French side Bordeaux coming up next month.

Piszczek has been a key component in Dortmund s success in recent years, with the right-back adding another dimension to Juergen Klopp s side with his pace and attacking industry.

Wolves have strengthened their Portuguese contingent with the signing of midfielder Joao Moutinho from Monaco.

The Premier League new boys have paid a reported £5m for the Portugal international, who has agreed a two-year deal.

Moutinho made three appearances for Portugal at the World Cup, also starring in their Euro 2016 triumph, and has won 113 caps for his country in total.

The 31-year-old will likely line up with compatriot Ruben Neves in the Wolves midfield, with coach Nuno Espirito Santo having also signed goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

Andre Gomes and Denis Suarez have left Barcelona s tour of the United States to have their injuries assessed, the LaLiga champions have announced.

Both midfielders damaged their hamstrings and had to be replaced in an International Champions Cup game against Tottenham on Saturday. 

Gomes is reportedly at risk of being ruled out for up to three months, while Suarez s injury is believed to be less serious.

Barcelona are reportedly open to offers for Gomes, who has struggled to settle at Camp Nou and has spoken about his mental health struggles.

But injury could scupper a move away for the Portugal international, who joined Barcelona from Valencia in 2016 and has been linked to Premier League sides Arsenal and West Ham.

Liverpool absolutely demolished Chelsea in a 4-1 Premier League victory at Anfield on Wednesday, with Diogo Jota, Conor Bradley, Dominik Szoboszlai and Luis Diaz all on target, while Christopher Nkunku provided some consolation for the visitors with a fine strike of his own.

A late goal from defender Ron Vlaar earned Feyenoord a very hard-fought point against Heracles in Sunday s Eredivisie action.

The visit to Rotterdam was a special occasion for Heracles manager Gert-Jan Verbeek, who coached Feyenoord for seven months in the 2008-09 season.

Things looked good for Heracles when Everton struck the away side to a 0-1 lead in the 82nd minute.

But Feyenoord limited the damage in the 90th minute as Ron Vlaar netted the equaliser and once again confirms his importance in important moments.
